Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Pixverse Downloader handles information when you visit our website, use the Chrome extension, activate a license, or contact us.

1. Summary

Pixverse Downloader is built to provide one main function: helping users download supported media from their Pixverse.ai account experience. The extension does not sell personal data, does not inject ads, and does not collect your Pixverse account password or payment card details. It uses local browser storage for license state and contacts our license server only to verify and manage license activations.

The extension requests only the permissions needed for that purpose: activeTab, storage, and host access to app.pixverse.ai. Pixverse Downloader's use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use or transfer this information for personalized advertising, credit-worthiness, lending, or sale to data brokers.

2. Information we collect

Website analytics. Our landing page uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views, referrers, approximate region, browser type, and device type.

Purchase and license information. If you buy a license, Gumroad processes the checkout. We may receive or store your license key, purchase email, license source, activation status, and refund or dispute status needed to validate the license.

Device activation data. The extension creates a random device identifier in Chrome local storage. When you activate or check a license, the extension sends the license key and device identifier to our license API so we can enforce the device limit and support deactivation.

Extension-local data. The extension stores the license key in Chrome sync storage and stores an encrypted activation cache in Chrome local storage. This helps the extension remember activation status and continue working during temporary network issues.

Support communications. If you email us, we collect the email address, message content, and any order or diagnostic details you choose to provide.

Security and service data. Our API infrastructure may process IP address, request time, user agent, and similar technical data for rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.

3. Information the extension reads from Pixverse.ai

The extension runs only on app.pixverse.ai. To provide the download feature, it scans the page for supported media elements, reads media URLs shown in the page, and creates download controls. When you click download, your browser fetches the media URL and saves the file locally.

We do not intentionally collect, store, or transmit your Pixverse account credentials, prompts, private messages, or the contents of your downloaded media to our servers. The media URLs and page content are processed in your browser for the user-facing download function.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Pixverse Downloader, verify licenses, enforce the 5-device activation limit, process deactivations and refunds, provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and understand aggregate website performance.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the product and related services. This may include Gumroad for checkout and license verification, Google Analytics for website analytics, Cloudflare for hosting, API delivery, database storage, rate limiting, and security, and email providers used to receive and respond to support requests.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service from fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Cookies and analytics controls

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies on the website. You can adjust your browser settings to block cookies, use privacy controls offered by Google, or use browser extensions that limit analytics tracking. Some website features may not work as expected if your browser blocks certain technologies.

7. Data retention

We keep license, purchase, activation, and support records for as long as needed to provide the product, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain accurate business records. Local extension data remains in your browser until you remove it, deactivate the license, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS for API requests and encrypted local activation cache storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can uninstall the extension at any time. You can remove a license from the extension popup, which also attempts to deactivate that device on our license server. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance for information associated with your license or support messages, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions.

10. Children

Pixverse Downloader is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. International use

We may process information in countries other than where you live. By using Pixverse Downloader, you understand that information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our product, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
